On the Poets

Donna Pucciani has published poetry on four continents and in such publications as Sojourners, National Catholic Reporter, and America, as well as JAMA, International Poetry Review, ShiChao Poetry, Poetry Salzburg, and other international venues.

Joshua Gage’s poems have been published or are forthcoming in journals including Beloit Poetry Journal, New Madrid, Anglican Theological Review, Spiritus, Still, and featured on Poetry Daily. He is the J. W. Cannon Professor of Religion at Davidson College.

Joseph Gascho is a cardiologist at Penn State Hershey College of Medicine, where he holds a joint appointment in the humanities. His work has appeared in Journal of Medical Humanities, The Permanente Journal, Wild Onions, and other journals.

Nathaniel Lee Hansen’s chapbook, Four Seasons West of the 95th Meridian, was published by Spoon River Poetry Press (2014). His work has also appeared in Prairie Gold: An Anthology of the American Heartland, The Cresset, Midwestern Gothic, and South Dakota Review, among others.

Wally Swist’s books include Huang Po and the Dimensions of Love (Southern Illinois University Press, 2012) and The Daodejing of Laozi, with David Breeden and Steven Schroeder (Lamar University Press, 2014). His new poems appear in Commonweal and North American Review.

John Estes is author of Kingdom Come (C&R Press, 2011) and two chapbooks: Breakfast with Blake at the Laocoön (Finishing Line Press, 2007) and Swerve (Poetry Society of America, 2009). His work has appeared in Tin House, Gettysburg Review, Southern Review, and elsewhere.
